A convenient boat shed in your yard.
A Cover Systems Folding Shed consists of a folding galvanised steel framework covered with a strong fabric cover which attaches to this framework.
Manufactured in two sizes, for boats up to:
- 168 inches long and, for longer boats/dinghies, up to 192 inches long.
- A folding shed is only suitable for a boat with the mast not upright.
- The covering is a breathable polyester, 300D high strength, woven textile, with a pleasing green colour.
- The tubular part of the frame is constructed with 3/4 inch square mild steel tube 1/16 inch thick.
- The hinge assembly is made with 1/8 inch thick steel plate.
- All metalwork is fully galvanised.
- A Folding Shed makes a great semi-permanent storage facility when a brick built structure is not available.
Sizing Information
- Manufactured in two sizes, for sailboats up to:
- 168 inches long. This small size has a frame footprint of 80 inches x 182 inches, requiring a ground space of 84 inches x 192 inches **
- 192 inches long. This larger size has a frame footprint of 86 inches x 217 inches, requiring a ground space of 92 inches x 228 inches **
- ** additional length is needed to allow the frame to lie flat when fully open (see the lowest photo above).

Ground fixing.
If you are using your folding shed on a concrete base we can supply you with ground fixing bolts to hold the frame firmly down.
Security Clamp.
Powerful theft deterrent. Prevents prying eyes. Heavy duty galvanised steel construction. Secure with a padlock.
