Outdoor car covers offer protection from natural pollutants like bird droppings and tree sap, snow and ice, acid rain, industrial pollutants, dust and airborne dirt, ultra-violet radiation, hot sunshine. These are car covers that are suitable for continuous outdoor use.

Our Outdoor car covers incorporate a door-zip (with an inner protective flap) on both sides and have hem elastic and include underneath straps
NB The straps are not sewn to the cover, they are detachable and simply buckle to the hem on both ends. This means (a) it is easier to install the cover without these straps flapping about & (b) you lie them on the ground before parking (please try not to drive over the buckles !) so you don't have to throw them under, then they're really easy to pick up and buckle to the hem. Hooray !

Extra elastic straps for our Outdoor Car Covers are available for severe wind conditions. All our Outdoor covers are supplied with a holdall and at least three under body straps, some have more.
Our Outdoor Car Cover range is usually supplied from stock held in our own warehouse and is usually dispatched within 2 working days. 80% of the orders we receive (generally before 4pm) are dispatched the day we receive the order.

Technical Information
The full size Outdoor Car Covers are made from a 300D* woven textile, proofed with an aluminised finish to reflect ultra-violet sunlight and heat. We control the specification of the proofing to ensure 90% water proofing without losing the breathability.
We have not found any fabric/material that achieves the Holy Grail of 100% waterproof (that is totally impervious to water) yet is breathable. It seems to us that this is a contradiction; you can have one or the other, not both. True, there are fabrics that supposedly achieve this when used as outer clothing (e.g. Gore-Tex). The catch is that the breathability is forced by the warmth of the body wearing it; rather difficult with a vehicle cover!
We strongly believe that the fabric we use represents the best choice available for manufacturing outdoor car covers. This fabric treatment is to our specification and hence is unique to our covers.
Most of our Outdoor Car Covers have driver and passenger door zips, you can feel safe with the knowledge that the zip is plastic and has a fabric cover to prevent it coming into contact with the paintwork.

Optional Extras
- Severe wind conditions.
- Whether man-made (trailering) or nature's own, wind conditions place a tough demand on any cover. You can deal with it in one of two ways, depending on the cause.
- A trailering net will prevent a cover billowing at high speeds and can be secured to your trailer with shock cords.
- Elastic straps while parked. The straps totally encircle the car (unlike an underbody strap which buckles to the cover) and, because they are flat elastic (not shock cord), they provide a suitably tensioned grip without strain.
- Mirror and Aerial Pockets.
- Upgrade the fit of your cover to virtually fully tailored with these pockets which are designed to fit over wing or door mounted mirrors or non-retractable aerials. Fit them yourself.
- Wheel covers.
- Designed for use on wheels on the car, they can also be used as a spare wheel cover, whether hidden inside the car or installed on a tailgate. Enhance the anonymity of your car, so increasing the theft-deterrent value of your cover.
